Sun Cream

Please apply Sun cream to your child BEFORE they come to school, as it takes a huge amount of time for staff to apply 24 sets of sun cream. Please mark on the sign in register in the morning if your child has had sun cream applied.  We are not able to use sun cream on your child that does not belong to them, so it is essential that your child brings in their own.

Please also ensure your child has a sun hat with them on hot days! (In September too!)

Please make sure any items that belong to your child are clearly named.

 

Sessions in September will be changing to

Monday            9.15 - 12.15  and 12.15 –  3.15

Tuesday           9.15 - 12.15  and  12.15 – 3.15

Wednesday      9.15 – 12.15 and 12.15 – 3.15

Thursday         9.15 – 12.15

Friday              Closed

You will have received confirmation of your September requirements in your child’s box. If any of these were wrong or you have changed your mind please notify Tamsin as soon as possible.

Fees for under 3’s will rise to £14  per session and once children turn 3 will remain the standard rate of £11.10.

 

Sports Day

Thank you to those of you who came to our sports day. The children seemed to have great fun and we raised £42.00.

Thank you to those of you who donated lovely cakes.

 

Staffing

We are in the process of holding job interviews and will be appointing a new member of staff to be the key person to the Fox group as off September to cover Kates Maternity leave. We will keep you updated with any information we have.

 

St Marys Reception Teachers Visit

The children were visited by the 2 teachers who will be teaching in reception from September. The

children seemed to enjoy meeting them and hopefully this will aid a smooth transition in September.

 

End of Term Party - Friday 22nd July

On the last day of term we will be hosting a Princesses and Pirates party. All children are welcome. Children who usually attend a Friday can arrive at 9.15, others to arrive at 10 am. There will be a leavers presentation where each child who is going to school will receive their book bag. Parents are welcome to arrive from 11.30 to see this. The presentation will begin at 11.45.

Please make sure you have returned your form and stated if you give permission for face paints and tattoos.

 

Questionaire

Please take a few minutes to fill in the questionnaire that is in your child’s box. It is really helpful to us to know what we are doing well, and how we could improve. Please return Questionnaires by Friday 15th July. They can be placed in a box in the entrance lobby.

 

Holiday

If you taking your child out of pre school for any holiday before we break up, or when we are due to return please let Tamsin know. There is no problem with taking your child out of preschool, but it is helpful for us to be informed so we can offer the space to another child. Please be aware that you will still be charged for sessions booked!

 

Wanted!!

If you have any spare sun hats that you no longer require we would be very grateful for these to keep as spares for the children. Also, we are looking to replace some of the following items,…

  • Jigsaw puzzles
  • Trains (without magnets)
  • Cars
  • Lego people
